All youth lacrosse teams in Northern California compete in the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Assocation (NCJLA). This encompasses teams from Monterey up to Redding, and from the Bay Area to the Sacramento area. There are three levels of competition within each age group - "A," "B," & "C," with the "A" division being the most competitive.
In 2014, Granite Bay's U13 "A" team completed an undefeated regular season, winning the season championship. They are the first "A" division team, of any age, from the Sacramento area to do so, ever.
Coming back from a four goal 3rd quarter deficit to win their first game 10-9 vs El Dorado Hills.
First Granite Bay team to beat a Diablo (Danville) "A" team, ever. Went on to beat them twice in the same season.
Coming back from a five goal 3rd quarter deficit to beat Skyline (Oakland) 9-8.
Winning the Eastern Conference of the U13A division.
Best offense (12.6 goals per game) in the U13A division.
Second best defense (4.7 goals per game) in the U13A division.
Had the second highest strength of schedule rating (Diablo was first).
Ten of their 17 victories were against playoff teams (top 8).
The team recorded 148 assists & 214 goals...70% of their goals were assisted.
First Granite Bay team to host an "A" division quarterfinal playoff game (must finish top 4 to host).
