Girls with birthdays falling in the 7U-8U age range can elect to play  Soft Lacrosse or in the traditional  Girls' City League program.

Soft Lacrosse is a fantastic beginners league for girls that emphasizes having fun while teaching the basics of the game of lacrosse. It is a developmental program that is made up players in the 7U and 8U age ranges.Soft lacrosse offers an opportunity to play with a stick, soft ball, and no goggles.  Only a stick and a smile required.

Weekly practices start in the middle of February and weekly games on Friday evenings start in the middle of March and go through the middle of May.

The 8U Soft Lacrosse games are generally played against coed teams from other local clubs.  Granite Bay has recently had enough girls in 8U age group to have an all-girls team that plays with girls sticks and against other girls and coed teams.  If we end up not having enough players for separate boys and girls 8U teams, they would be combined into a coed team.

Fees: The Spring 2025 Registration cost Granite Bay Youth Lacrosse 8U Soft Lacrosse Program is $150.  Registration opens on September 23rd.  After October 20th, the fee increases to $175.  Click HERE to register.
