We are happy to announce that our club will be having a food drive at our last 3 Sunday Fall Clinics (Oct 29, Nov 5, Nov 12).  All donations will be going to the Sunrise Christian Food Ministry.  SCMF is a local participating organization of the Sacramento Food Bank that provides emergency food distribution to people in need.  They have asked for help with their annual Thanksgiving distribution which will take place on Nov 16th and 17th where they expect to serve over 2000 families.  Items they have requested for these thanksgiving meals include:

• Boxed stuffing
• Canned Vegetables
• Gravy Packets
• Cranberry Sauce
• Pop top canned items for homeless guests:  fruit, vegetables, soup, pasta

They are also always interested in the items listed on their SUPPLIES PAGE.

Please bring any items you can with you to the clinics and our high school coaches will deliver them to the food closet for distribution.
